My recommended reading for March is Susan Cain’s Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking(amazon.com link). This book examines the introvert style.

I recognize that introverts only make up a portion of the population. However, even if this does not describe you, it may describe your coworker, family member, loved one, client or patient.
This is the best book I have read in a long time!
What does this have to do with health and weight?
I believe that by knowing yourself, you have the best chance of understanding some of your strengths and barriers surrounding weight management.
The second book I will be reviewing is: The Heavy: A Mother, A Daughter, A Diet–A Memoir by Dara-Lynn Weiss. This book details one woman’s choice to place her seven-year old on a restrictive diet.
Here is the Canadian link to Amazon.ca as well: The Heavy: A Mother, A Daughter, A Diet–A Memoir.
I will be discussing aspects of these books in March.
